i have the same feelings towards this type of fractals as TwilightAmbiance, they're amazing technical pieces, but artistically, they're not much of an eye-candy for me. i haven't seen one composition that managed to create a focal point.. the color and texture sort of make up for that in the case of this specific fractal though :)

Eh, I've never really liked these kinds of fractals because they don't really have a great focal point at all (or even an absence of one). However, you sort of make up for it with the interesting color scheme. The shapes are particularly nice, too.

Good textbook fractal...just not my type. :hmm:
