I think something's missing, I just can't say exactly what. Comments
 Something reaching out, bold dark lines fighting maybe ... < as the missing thing > But I enjoy this as is, the vast glow, the textured red - very well done.
 It looks great.
 I like the colors too.-- I am a GIMP user and grammatical freak. <Addicted to emoticons> ._.  Needs some darkness for contrast with the bright gold.
 this looks awesome, but yes, I think that a little bit of contrast would make this perfect.
-- ... ~Apophysis  I think the contrast is the thing as well. Though as is, I love how this reminds of ancient murals as they've begun to give in to the ravages of time.
-- "Challenge is a dragon with a gift in its mouth...Tame the dragon, and the gift is yours." ~Noella Evans  I like this a lot, but I think I can see what you mean by "something's missing": I think something dark and spiky needs to be in the right lower corner. Or something much lighter than surroundings, but then you'd have to lower the gamma of the rest of the image and put a white focal point into the RL corner. But I really like the center and the left.
  Looks cool. This is the first fractal that I've seen that didn't look like a big blob from a computer algorithm. maybe I need to rethink fractals.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure.
