The item on today's auction block is one 1 year subscription to deviant art.
How do you bid? Well, this is a different type of auction, so, there's a different way to bid.
Firstly, you're going to want to do something good for someone else. They can be a deviant, but they don't have to be. Then you're going to take pictures or provide some sort of proof of your "bid". You're going to leave your bids in the comments of this journal.
You bids have to have some kind of value to them. This will make it easier to gauge the current bid's price. So for instance, you can bid 5 pie slices to someone. This is 400 points or about 5 US dollars. Or you can bid a free commission to someone, which would be about 20 US dollars, right?
Also, the bigger the bids start to get, the more willing I am to add to the prize.
This auction will last for a week, ending at 12 PM EDT next monday.
I will start the bidding at 400 points (5 US dollars.)

EDIT:Also, I'd like to mention that all bids have to be legal. And the bids are done in such a way that you have to do them first before they count as bids, so, you can't just back out.

About 2 months ago I cut 17" off my hair and donated it to Locks of Love. They make wigs for children who have lost their hair due to disease.
I would do it again, but I don't think my hair will grow 17 inches in the next few days
But, I'm not sure that counts because of how long ago it was and the monetary value of that is questionable.
But I'm sure there's a little girl walking around with a beautiful head of hair
I'll just have to think of something else to do!
I haven't been able to for while because the job I was at didn't allow guys to have long hair, because it was "nontraditional"
