Thats a pretty honest poll. I think most people fall under the assumption that if they don't fav they don't like the work, so no comment is necessary. They just skip it. On the other hand, many people feel that the work should be critiqued by using the critique feature. For some members that's not possible because its become a subscriber feature? It could also be that people would rather feel nice and not do that, because it could be seen as poor etiquette, on the site, and that they could be indeed chastised for poor behavior, even if their intent was meant in honesty?

As for yours .. i guess i tend to go more for clear defined fractals where i can see a kind of picture in them more than those abstract unsymmetrical lines and crazy things you do sometimes but i do like and fav quite a few of yours but i agree with blessed-saen, i was taught to praise when i like but be quiet when i dont as its not polite to say so and i few times i have to others said something slightly negative about thier work (nicely of course) but most dont seem to want to hear it and get kind of huffy about it

I'm one of the others... I will generally say what I don't like... but only when I know the person well enough to be comfortable doing it. People are touchy bastards.
